Jurgen is the true winner and that was a grotesque miscarriage of justice.

They could have had a four person final and no one would have minded.

I am sad. But I have been saying all along that Crystelle should have had more attention for being excellent from the start. But perhaps being overlooked led her to up her game even more and Jurgen got used to being star baker and didn't improve enough (which is difficult when you are amazing to begin with). We thought they should have had a 4-person final. It was too close to call.

I am VERY sad. Juergen was my favourite. Agree that Crystelle was underrated at the start- including by me, I must admit.

Juergen should have stayed and been equally lovely about winning or losing. That elimination was all wrong.

I'm fuming about the result! But I had a sense it would happen based on the editing of the previous eps and more importantly, people being upset on Twitter. Although I like all the semifinalists I think there's a really strong affection for Juergen among viewers (which I share!) and I had a feeling anyone else being eliminated wouldn't have elicited such a very strong reaction ...

You're right on all counts, he was definitely wobbling on his pedestal the past couple of episodes. But that was just cruel. 💔

I won't be disappointed if it's Giovanni, but I'm definitely Team Cristelle.

I don't have a favourite now that Juergen is gone, so once I'm done mourning his departure after Extra Slice, I will ponder this question.
