In this particular case, nowhere! She guards the path most assiduously.

I've spent the past couple of months deleting hundreds of photos of geese to make space on my computer. For some reason, any time I get a new camera, I feel the need to test it by taking photos of geese. There were so many. Mostly blurry. None as good as this. I like this one.

They're such obliging subjects. They hold very still and look you right in the eyes. Also, handsome birds!
