Day 74/365: The Shaggy Ponies do The Shining

Two Shaggy Ponies standing stock still, side-by-side, STARING.

The Shaggy Ponies seriously freaked me out today. They stood like that, unmoving, for almost an hour, looking straight through the window. I kept furtively peeking out from behind the curtain to see if they were still doing it.

"Come play with us, Nanila. Forever...and ever...and ever."

They are being their usual placid, non-spooky selves today. Phew.

I do, I do. It would a joy to spend the day grazing and trotting around a lovely green pasture, being followed around by wagtails.

Nothing out of the ordinary. No boat in the lock, no cat in the window, no unusual birds or other wildlife. I'm sure there must have been something!

They have since been behaving normally, which is a great relief. :)
