Sputnik, Telstar's brother, in 2012
Sputnik, lolling on a blue blanket, with his head upside down and one yellow eye showing.

Regular readers may remember that Telstar used to have a brother. He was killed by a car when we were still living in Cambridge. I made my last Caturday post featuring Sputnik on 10 March 2012.

He was a scrappier, lankier, grumpier character than Telstar, but no less loved. I still miss him.

Also, as I recall, with more cortical bandwidth. One never forgets ones cats. I still miss all my previous ones even though I love my current quirky quartet.

Hugs

I still miss all the kitties I have ever owned.

Such an excellent pose and such a cutie.

It's always hard losing a cat. I still miss the ones who aren't with me any more and sometimes I wake up thinking I can hear one of them snoring.

What a lovely guy, and so like Telstar. <3

I miss mine so much! It doesn't matter how long it's been, I still remember the weight of mine in my arms and the sound of their footsteps.

Telstar is a super cat but I'm a Sputnik baby and Sputnik was my kind of cat.

What a sharp character he has here! And, oh, it's so hard to lose a cat unexpectedly. *sympathy*
