Simply by the theory of trusting people's experience, it's a boat. Humuhumu and Keiki deserve to have their first-hand experience taken at face value, as do we all.

When it does not contain either children or laundry, as it cannot speak for itself, the question is more philosophically complex.

Agreed on both counts. The boat is sailing daily from Port Utility Room to Port Children's Room.
