Friday's Unscientific Poll: Telecons

Whenever I know I have a telecon coming up that's going to last more than an hour, I try to ensure that I have five minutes beforehand to use the toilet and make a cup of tea (er, not simultaneously). Sometimes, though, time constraints force me to choose. Hence, today's unscientific poll!

For a moment, I thought this was an unscientific poll about Telstars. The only opinion I can possibly have here is "more of those please."

Tea is not optional in long teleconferences (although the aversion of "long call, no tea" may in fact result in "long call, full bladder" depending on length of call.)

Well, it's easier to make tea while on the phone than going to the bathroom, especially if you mostly have to listen, so I vote for bathroom now, tea later. (I have done both, though...)

Also if you have both tea and a full bladder then the tea is less appealing.

It would be a feat of multitasking (if a bit icky) if you could make tea and relieve yourself simultaneously haha.

As noted, tea becomes much less appealing with a full bladder, and I personally find a full bladder I can't go empty MUCH more unpleasant than not having my drink of choice at hand, anyway!

Only one of these options is an issue. Cordless phones exist.
