December Days in Photos, Day 1: Telstar

Telstar's proved a popular choice so far, so here's a photo from back in August, when he enjoyed lying on the picnic table in the centre of the lawn and baking his brains on sunny days.

Oh yes. The fur on his face is finally starting to grow again, so he's recovering his usual symmetrical good looks (as opposed to his rakishly unsymmetrical good looks).

This reminds me of a friend's cat who was once disporting herself in a similar fashion on the garden table. She very luxuriantly rolled over... and fell off the edge, only to saunter away with a very clear air of "of course, I meant do to exactly that."

He looks lovely, but I'm struck by the lovely red touches in the background and the umbrella.

:) Yes, it was obliging of the lilies to be in bloom, and to exactly match the umbrella.

Indeed. *sigh* My "sun" right now is in the form of a light box, which I have on all day.
