Remember those Very Excited Year 4 students that I wrote about (DW/LJ) a few weeks back?

Their thank-you cards arrived yesterday.

Heartfelt and wonderful works of art that they are, I thought they merited scanning in and sharing. I shall treasure them.

"Thank you Dr [nanila]!" by Beattie

Beattie says: "To Dr [nanila], I loved learning about space it was epic and one day I would like to move to the moon! from Beattie". On the facing page, SPACE is written in coloured letters surrounded by pink hearts.

"Thank you Dr [nanila]!" by Jonah and Ella

Jonah and Ella say: "Dear Dr [nanila], Thank you for your brilliant presentation on space and when we can move to the moon. We learnt a lot and told our friends and family. After that talk we now want to move to the moon. It was amazing seeing what you do and how long it takes to prepare and launch a spaceship. We hope other people get to meet you as your talk was inspiring. From Jonah and Ella."

Those are wonderful and touching, and I have special love for the one with the comet's tail pointing away from the sun.

These are great. I love the one on black paper, how they used the black to be space, and remembered to put a spot on Jupiter.

This is all going to be submitted in the next REF, right? ;-)

Totally wonderful. How cool you get to inspire them so much (and I adore the enthusiasm for moon-life)
