I forgot to share this photo of Humuhumu after my trip to Washington DC. I brought this astronaut outfit back for her from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. It was worth every penny.

I've seen similar (no doubt less good) astronaut outfits here, at the National Space Centre and suchlike) and have always been really annoyed they are only in little kids' sizes. :) I want an astronaut outfit too!

Yep. Today I was in the Dr Martens shop and they had this pair of black 8-eyes with a dainty rose pattern on them. Only in children's sizes. I mean, I'd happily get a pair for Humuhumu (she didn't want them) but I want them toooooo...!

Yep, the bus obsession continues. We acquired a new bus today, in fact.

I'm thinking pilot may be the solution for her, as she's also been asking for a ride in a helicopter for some time. I looked into it, but it turns out the minimum age is at least six years old.

That is fantastic. I've been looking for one for Small Daughter for ages and she is now nearly 8 and I still haven't found one in the UK.

I wish there had been such things when my youngest was that age. I had to improvise!

It is just a play costume, but all the pockets and zips work so in theory she could use it as a boiler-suit! She's quite mechanically inclined.
