Today is the tenth anniversary of the (most recent) London bombings.

I was living in Camden at the time. My LJ posts on that day are here.

If you'll excuse me, I think I'll be spending the rest of the day cuddling my baby son and watching the Tour de France.

What an awful thing to go through. I'm glad you were safe on that fateful day, but I'm sorry you (and the other Londonites) experienced it to begin with.

I hope spending time with your son helped you feel better. *hugs*

I was really new to the UK at the time - less than a year in residence - so that added an extra layer of terror on top of the rest since I was still experiencing a fair amount of culture shock.

It did, thank you. Yesterday was better, and today was almost back to normal. *hugs back*
