Those are wonderful shots. She's a very enthusiastic little cook! It's lovely that you let her get hands-on like that - right in the middle of the action.
And it looks like her worship of Telstar is as strong as ever. So cute!
Apparently messy play is supposed to be good for them? Not that I've noticed there's any other kind of play with a toddler, so I don't entirely understand the implication that there's a choice. :P
She is Telstar's devoted slave, and he's quite happy to do what's necessary to keep it that way.
Hee! IS there any other kind of play for a toddler? I don't think so.
He is no fool, that Telstar. *g*
(Speaking of that photo - I got your reply at Ello. That place is weird. Now that you have replied, I can't see my comment. Nor can I find a way to reply to yours. Clunktastic, no? I am sure they will improve...)
The disappearance of your comment is my fault. The Ello action icons are microscopic. I was poking around underneath your comment and thought I saw a little "reply" arrow I had missed earlier, so I pressed it. It turned out to be an "x". Which apparently stands for "delete forever with no warning and no possibility of retrieval". Clunktastic, yep.
Ah! ok, that makes me feel better. At least there is a reason that makes sense!
The action icons are altogether ridiculous - not only are they stupidly tiny, but they are in ultra-low contrast grey, so just finding the cryptic icon you might not want to click becomes an adventure.
I was thinking how tall she'd gotten the other day when she stood on her step to get to the sink and she could almost reach the tap. It's happening so fast!
I conditioned her to sit on the counter, I'm afraid - started putting her there as soon as she was able to sit in the Bumbo, and now she expects to be plopped there whenever I'm preparing food. It's working out okay, though. She's pretty good about staying seated and not going near the edges, though I don't often take my eyes off her either.
He used to have a brother named Sputnik. Both were named for very early spacecraft achieving "firsts". Sputnik I think most people have heard of (Russian, first to achieve low Earth orbit) but Telstar was an industrial satellite (American) that was the first to transmit a television signal.
