Humuhumu and Grandpa

Hello from the west coast of the USA, where we've been for two weeks that have blazed past. Humuhumu has been spending a lot of time with her grandpa. Here are some pictures of them being very cute.

In the interim between this and my previous post, I've had a birthday and am now even closer to middle age. We've been to Portland and seen emelbe and victorine and successfully quested for books and bourbon. And Humuhumu has put her feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time. More photos to follow.

Thank you! I didn't feel like my birthday was such a big deal this year, but then again, I didn't mind either because my family was there and busy adoring the baby.

She has four teeth now. Four! I keep trying to get a photo of them, but she's evasive about showing them off.

Grandpa is completely enamoured of her. She told her first joke with him - I must post the video soon.

My paternal grandfather was pretty much my favorite person on the planet when I was a wee thing. He was the only person in my family who was never judgmental or harsh with me. I miss him very much as well.

I'm sure Humuhumu is in good hands :3
