Cat and Girl 4: An artistic collaboration

Humuhumu has been experimenting with solid food. She enjoys holding a stick of steamed carrot or broccoli and gnawing on the ends. Most of it comes right back out, gets flung on the floor or passes straight through her. The leftovers are artistically arranged on the placemat, with assistance from Telstar.

He was dancing around her while she was lying on the changing mat this morning and she was making these vague attempts to pat his fur. So painfully cute.

They are so precious together! I love her reaching for him so carefully, and then him being so tolerant when she is less careful with his whiskers. Awwww.

He's very good with small children. He seems to understand that they don't intend to hurt him and also that their coordination doesn't match up to their intentions.
