My Dreamwidth friend and artist
ephemere is raising money to support herself while she finds a job that doesn’t discriminate against the marginalized group to which she belongs. To this end, she is selling a gorgeous calligraphy book, Kandila of her poems in Filipino and in English. (Translations into English will be provided for Filipino poems.) Each of these creations will be unique, as she will be hand-lettering every one, and each will be bound by a papercraft artist.
She is offering pre-orders at a prices of 25 USD, which to my mind is a steal for an original work of this quality. Paying more will gain you perks - yay, extra art! - and also help
ephemere establish her independence.

You can order Kandila through PayPal using a PayPal account or a credit/debit card. Please go to her Dreamwidth post for further details and a link to her order form. Browse her journal and her DeviantArt gallery for more images of her calligraphy & ink drawing.

I just wanted to clarify, to keep from any confusion -- I won't be hand-calligraphing each book (otherwise my fingers will fall off!) instead I will be doing each page by hand, scanning, and then printing as many copies needed to make up the books. :) They will all still be unique, though, since I'll be decorating each cover by hand and doing a handwritten dedication for everyone who wants one. <3
Again, thank you so so so much; I am just so staggered by the kindness of my friends, and the response to my post. I can't express how much it means to me that people would want some of my art.
