Tough Cat Is Tough



Telstar acquired an ear nick a couple of weeks ago and has been insufferably smug* ever since, but this is the first chance I've had to document it. Tough Cat Iz Tuff. His scar, let me show you it.

* Not that this is all that distinguishable from his usual state of "unbearably smug". He is, after all, a cat.

Aw. He didn't seem too bothered by it just after it happened. He & his brother (Sputnik) scrap constantly, so I think they're both pretty inured to pain. I picked him up and fuzzed his head like I usually do before I noticed, and he kept purring. I felt terrible once I saw it & kept away from the ear while it sealed up. He's a pretty robust kitty. I'm just glad it healed properly.

Oh, his BROTHER! Well then, you can't help sibling scuffles. lol Silly kitties. Mine were sumo wrestling this morning, ticked off at each other, with their ears in the landing position. :D

Poor ear! He looks very dashing though. Like a pirate.

Oh yes. He knows it, too. His self-esteem has definitely increased since The Wounding.
