Kitteh outfit is the Best. Thing. EVER.

My kitteh outfit for the race arrived.

Why can I not wear this every day? I mean, aside from the fact that the skirt is kind of obscenely short, which means I'm going to have to wear spandex under it to run in it. I did 20 flights of stairs in it just to test its comfort level and it fits beautifully. I am so in love with it, I had to make an entire photoset of it.

I'm going to have to find a pretty secure way to attach the tail, though. It's kind of heavy and it's just safety-pinned on at the moment.

Funny you should say that about the tail: I dressed as a cat for Halloween one year, and we stuffed a sock to make a tail. The safety pin ripped out the back of my pants. XD

I feel it's really appropriate for this race, too. Partly because the race is all about wearing PINK and running with other ladies while dressed in PINK, but partly for me it is also a statement of confidence and embracing my body image.
