Not one of my British friends and colleagues has complained about the weather for the last week.
Now, I'm the first one to admit that it is absolutely glorious out, but I'm half American so I'm allowed unqualified enthusiasm for nice things. Surely there is something amiss when no one is grumbling about the weather. Isn't the sunshine the wrong colour? Isn't it bad for the plants in the garden? Won't there be an hosepipe ban? Doesn't this mean we'll have six solid months of rain come the autumn?
Isn't just a little too hot?
Come on, guys. You're letting the side down here.
