Yes. We had been warned about incursions from sheep and cows so were mildly disappointed that they stayed peacefully corralled in neighbouring fields. 🐮 🐑

It was lovely. The part of the house that you can see in the photo is all one big room. We spent most of our time in there reading and playing games.

It is rather splendid. Not big, unlike the mansion it was built to accompany (which burnt down in 1645).

There's a West Banqueting House as well, but having seen them both, this is the pick of the two in terms of its situation on the estate.
