1. Do you have a yearly, or monthly, clothing budget? Do you stick to it?
No and no. I purchase clothing as infrequently as possible.
2. Do you buy trendy clothes, or classic pieces that can be worn for years?
If by "classic" you mean "robust items in black that will go equally well with ballet flats, knee high boots or DMs, all of which are also black", then the latter.
3. Is there a current fashion trend that you hate?
I would probably hate all of them if I knew what they were. I will stick to "truculent old corpgoth" forever.
4. Have you had clothing altered to fit you better?
A couple of times, when I bought fancy trousers that weren't already hemmed for Important Occasions.
5. Is there a piece of clothing, or accessory, that you covet?
I would like a pair of lifetime guarantee trousers with all the pockets. A posh mechanical watch. And one day I want to splurge on a really expensive sleek black coat. But I can quite happily continue to exist without any of those things.

My clothing is chosen on the basis of 'what will make the best backdrop for my jewellery and shoes?"

because
a) the fabric is soft and breathable = good for my sensitive skin, psoriasis etc
b) the fabric is stretchy and good for my chronic pain [stiff fabric or bulky seams = more pain]
c) it comes in sizes that fit me

I do not have a clothing budget. My approach to clothing is: does it fit, is it comfortable, is it machine washable, do I like it, in roughly that order.
A while ago I settled on pocket-dresses-over-leggings as a default, and accumulated enough Svaha dresses now to have fun with that. Although now I have discovered Swag leggings with pockets, I am often even lazier and just wear a tshirt and/or hoodie over those. The main thing is what kind of meetings I have that day and whether it's with people who'll also all be wearing tshirts/hoodies (IT org, most of us WFH, no-one ever sees each other below the waist these days). I usually wear dresses when going out of the house, or occasionally dark jeans + top, because I found some jeans in the charity shop that fit me and I don't hate.
