Seal at Blakeney Point
We went on a seal-watching boat trip at Blakeney Point, on the coast of north Norfolk. Underneath the cut are a quite unnecessary quantity of seal photos. Be grateful they are not accompanied by the smell. They may be cute, but they sure do stink.

These two were having the most apathetic argument over a section of beach that I've ever seen. There was some very feeble flipper-waving, and a few grunts, before they both fell back on the pebbles, exhausted.

This is only a fraction of the seal population (common and grey) in the area, which was rather comforting to hear.

They do look delightful. The smell does not sound like an added benefit.

I may have also been expecting Wally to show up, or some other intrepid walrus.

I disagree, this is an extremely necessary number of seal photos. (Apparently they do the banana pose when they're relaxed and happy!) But it is true, the sea dogs are pretty rank and best appreciated from upwind.
