What’s your favorite way to spend a Friday night?

This answer has a dependence on whether or not there's a global pandemic going on.

If(pandemic): Stay at home, cuddle up on sofa with a hot drink and a salty snack, watch something funny on the telly, go to bed.

else: Go to pub, have a nice meal, perhaps consume one too many glasses of wine, toddle home, cuddle up on the sofa with a hot drink and a salty snack, watch something funny on the telly, go to bed.

Does your local have the Telly running all the time?

Thankfully no. It has one tucked in a nook, for when people request to watch football/rugby/tennis, but it's only on for those matches.

Thank heavens! TVs seem to be immutable parts of taverns in my part of the world. Except for "sports bars" which have at least 20 big screens plus at least five supplementals.

It's the 'pub' bit (not to mention the odd restaurant) that one misses most!
