Lovely! Do I recall you mentioning that it is the Worcester and Birmingham you live by? We had a plan to walk from Birmingham to Worcester along the towpath over a couple of days this summer, though alas that is now pretty much certain not to happen :-(
Yep, that's correct. It is a gorgeous walk so I hope you do get to do it at some point. I will note that social distancing on the towpath during the day is difficult with normal foot/cycle traffic levels; at bank holiday weekends it's impossible.
Yes, we live near the Oxford canal and have mostly stopped walking on the towpath as distancing is so difficult. One for a post-social-distancing world!
