Per the subject line, are those smol fren foundlings or does England actually have such creatures? (Having typed the question, I'm pretty sure I have now correctly guessed the answer based on the "country life" tag.
England has newts. I'm pretty sure those are smooth or 'common' newts, which are fairly widespread. That said, all our amphibians are becoming less common, generally due to habitat loss/fragmentation.
NEWTS!!! We had them in the pond when I was a child (indeed until my parents moved 5 years ago), I love them still. Their adorable faces, their tiny feet.
Chicago shirt! And hello, I love you. I'm having a very difficult time of late and just popping by to see some favorite folks and you are one. Sending you my best wishes!
