Telstar sniffing Keiki's fingers.
I don't know what it is about this week, but it's kicking my butt. Work has suddenly become full-on again after a lull whilst everyone adjusted to this being-home-all-the-time, virtual-meetings malarkey. The day flies past and suddenly it's 9 PM and I just want to sit in front of the telly with a beer and stare at the Great British Sewing Bee. It could be worse.

Hope the last couple of days of the week improve.

I don't know why but loads of people I know (including me) have kind of collapsed in the middle like sad cakes this week. I don't know if it's cumulative stress, or some kind of mid-pandemic hump, or what, but it's eerie. I hope your week improves.

Ha, yes, to paraphrase Eddie Izzard, I feel like the Austro-Hungarian empire: slowly collapsing like a flan in a cupboard. The week got better toward the end but tbh today has been the highlight because it's the weekend.

It is nice for the days to fly by - and like you, collapsing onto sofa at 8 or 9pm is quite a righteous exhaustion.

Work is ramping up here, as well, given that the organization seems to have made some decisions about how they want to try having is do work things from home. When it kicks into overdrive, probably about the time they start letting us know about summer designs, the time is definitely going to start moving faster.

That sounds good? Nerve-wracking at first but then quite satisfying, having direction and purpose.

Thank you. Yes, today was relaxing. The weather was good, we did quite a lot in the garden, and we made nice food.
