We've been walking down the canal towpath once a day, every day since the lockdown started. We missed out yesterday, and even though I had spent two hours digging in the garden, it turned out that was a terrible, terrible idea. Note to self: If you don't find a daily iteration of this shot on your dSLR's memory card, you will in fact go bonkers.

oooooooh yes. I'm remembering why I did the Camino.

THe only downside is I'm starting to think I'll need new Proper trainers before this pandemic ends. (the sort that retail for £105 on offer, but that mean I don't wind up with wrecked feet again)

I have not been on a walk since Saturday morning and I am going slightly mad.

I've had minor cold symptoms all week and therefore need to stay home until I'm definitely well. I will check again when I am properly better but I think as I haven't had any fever or cough I can go for solitary exercise outdoors again as soon as I'm no longer ill. But I will probably err on the safe side and avoid shops etc for the following two weeks.

Today is the first day I haven't felt utterly shattered after finishing work, which is a relief.

That picture helps bring down my stress levels.

We’re splitting walks to get Rowan out twice a day, but my walk is usually in the afternoon when he’s cranky so it’s not been relaxing :P

Well, we try to get him out twice a day. The morning outing with G usually goes fine, in the afternoon he just wants to watch Peppa Pig, sometimes he‘ll to go into the garden for a bit. I’m thinking about changing it up so G takes him out in the earlier part of the morning, and I take him out in the later part of the morning and maybe that will cause fewer battle of wills and stress for me (I only have an hour or so to take him out in the afternoon post-nap before I need to start on dinner, and so if he’s not being cooperative, the clock is ticking... etc.).

I’m currently okay with things if he gets out (and away from the TV...) for at least a couple of hours a day. He’s watching way more TV than we would prefer under normal circumstances, but this is not normal circumstances. I’m trying not to add it to the things I stress about :/

Having a short or longer walk is really helpful, if you can do it. I've been using the bed to walk Pokémon as my excuse to get out regularly, and sometimes the short walks go longer if I'm chasing things.

I freely admit I can resupply, especially in the tweaked gift sets, because I have far too many friends and lots of them are very good about sending gifts. And I have a park nearby if I really need to resupply a lot.
