I'm used to looking at a different deer species, so white-tails always look off, in a cute way that's hard to define.

When I lived in Berea (Kentucky) the deer would prance through the meadow next to our backyard and one night some curious fawns came very close to our porch! I would see them leaping through the meadow sometimes, too.
