On Sunday, Humuhumu coloured in an Easter egg for a school art competition. I thought it was pretty fantastic. She also sang at a Mothering Sunday church service with her Rainbows troupe, and read out a message she wrote to me, saying “I love my mum because she is nice to me and gives me cuddles.” Something may have gotten into my eye at that point.

On Monday, I drew some pictures of various antenna configurations inside an anechoic test chamber. I didn’t set out to make the parabolic reflector look like a toothy monster but sometimes these things just turn out fortuitously.

On Tuesday evening, I went with my cousin to a live recording of Series 8 of “John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme” at Broadcasting House in London.

On Wednesday, Humuhumu drew the best ever cartoon cat. I love that she is starting to understand perspective already, purely by instinct.

On Thursday, Humuhumu and I designed a model of her. She used her eye patches for the body.
On Friday, I took no photos I wish to share in a public post.

On Saturday, Keiki turned himself into a bridge.

Monday: Confused me for a bit, 'til I realised the reflector was meant to reflect radio waves (but not sound, hence "teeth").
Tuesday: So... Much... Envy! Any idea when it's being transmitted?
Wednesday: Good cat! Wide-angle lensed cat! =:o}
Thursday: =:o}
Saturday: How to get into civil engineering, the hard way! =:oo (Did the cartoon cat walk across him? =:o} )

The coloring on the egg is excellent, and the cat drawing is very good.
I admit, I do like the idea of a parabolic reflector as a toothy monster more than I probably should, because that sounds life an interesting story.
