Sheep attack 2
Here is the most exciting thing to happen in Rural Farmville in the past week. This is probably more sheep than cars we get down our lane in a day. Closely followed by two energetic border collies and a shouty farmer. Ah, country life.

Having had to chase pigs and cows all over fields and retrieve them from neighbor's places, I admire the sheep making it easy by staying on the road.

Sheepdogs are such Good Dogs. I do love a dog with a job. :)

I had a sudden memory of the school bus getting held up by cows going for milking, which would happen now and again. (The bus home that is; I don't think the bus *to* school ever got caught that way, but it would have made an awesome late excuse.)

Cows in my experience get milked earlier than kids are going to school in the morning. :)

Well yeah :-)

But 4pm movements of cattle around the local roads - completely normal. I had forgotten that until now.

You know you live in a rural area when the local magazine has a vet article about rams' testicles! :o)

Prettier than being stuck in traffic on a motorway! I love black-faced sheep - my favourite.
