You know that feeling when you rock up home after having been away for a night, only to find a totally unexpected luxury vehicle parked there?

And you say to your other half, "Crikey, I was only away for 23 hours, what the hell?"

I mean, she is a sexy beast, but really...!

Rather mundane, sadly. It belongs to a friend of our neighbour. It revved up and zoomed off at about 9 PM last night.

Whaaaat? And I speak as one who once got a chirpy email that said "We now have a bright yellow car!" when I had not been expecting any car at all, yet alone a yellow one.

As it turns out, it wasn't an early birthday present. It departed at about 9 PM last night.

Our neighbour had a friend up to visit from London, and that is his car. :)

It is a very nice car. I was expecting somewhat mundane, like it had been rented by the bloke for when you were gone on London, as a "I wonder what it might be like to be such" idea.
