Y'all, I thought Vienna was going to take the cake forevermore for Most Last Minute Posting ever, but it turns out Polish Colleague's leaving do is going to win. I have two minutes left. So I give you the lovely lanterns lighting the patio of the restaurant where we had our farewell meal for him. Behold.

Wow, that looks amazing! Was the food as good as the decor?

Yes, it was! It was this place: http://www.ogniskorestaurant.co.uk/. The pierogi were delicious. I also had the seared salmon on a bed of lightly pickled cucumbers. SO GOOD.

I was going to recommend Ognisko as a good place to meet up, if Streatham was too far away! Never sat on the terrace though, and obviously I am missing out.

I would gladly go to Ognisko again so I can try other things on the menu. Streatham isn't too far away either though!

For a moment, I thought the decorations on the ceiling were spiders. I was only a little disappointed to work out I was wrong.

I might write to them and suggest that they change the light bulbs out on the patio to orange when it's Halloween. :D
