Originally read that as "Auntie Mary in her private garden," which would've been even better.

Favored euphemisms include gilded lotuses, beds of roses, and so on.

I had a temporary mental blank before remembering my favourite Aussie slang for pubic region. In the meantime I discovered this colour coded list of euphemisms: click for big yet slightly blurry image and this list of nicknames for female genitials from around the world which is full of gifs.

I must share with you a delightful euphemism from 12thc france: "bunny fur" (pun on conne, for rabbit, and cunne, for cunt). Seen in the Roman d'Eneas, where imprecations are made that Eneas "does not like bunny fur".
