Cannot see the image either, but from the description, I would term it a hat. As it is likely the same object that Tay and I paraded around wearing upturned on our heads, declaring "I'm wearing my new hat to town!"

Earlier I couldn't see the image on my iPhone (just more of an FYI, I saw that you changed image servers, but just to keep you informed is all--"earlier" being "yesterday")

Kiddos look pretty happy in their basket-boat. I wouldn't recommend traversing deep waters in it, though :D

Keiki seems thrilled with the clothespins too!

Simply by the theory of trusting people's experience, it's a boat. Humuhumu and Keiki deserve to have their first-hand experience taken at face value, as do we all.

When it does not contain either children or laundry, as it cannot speak for itself, the question is more philosophically complex.
