Haute Cogture: The Engineer Dress (Seven Days of Selfies 3/7)

I got this dress as a reward for backing the Kickstarter campaign Svaha STEAM Angels: Smart Dresses for Smart Women. It's terribly comfortable, and it has pocketses!

I was very pleased that it arrived in time to come with me on my trip to the Netherlands on Tuesday, and make its debut appearance at a European Space Agency meeting.

It's great, isn't it? Now that I've seen it, I will be ordering more.

Though not shipping them to the UK, as they don't seem to have sorted out their international shipping charges properly. I had to pay customs fees to the tune of £14.70 (!) to get this delivered.

It's very tempting indeed. I would be a little cautious about ordering from the UK though, as I don't think they've quite their international shipping costs down correctly. I had to pay customs fees to get mine delivered.

I think they're pretty new? They seem to make an effort to be ethical & care about where their material is sources, etc. So that's good too.

I highly recommend it. The fabric is good quality, breathable and it fits well. After a full day in meeting rooms and then a long stay in an airport + flight home, I was still comfortable.

Yes, it fits really nicely. A sheath dress is always a good test of a brand. I'd trust the other "fit & flare" dresses implicitly now.

From the looks of the other comments, it seems like there are a lot of really good designs to add to the sprocket dress so that you can be geeky in style.

I was rather hoping you'd be able to get all the styles in all the patterns, like redbubble, but I can see why that wouldn't be possible.

Pity, I'd really like the circuit board one in a sheath shape.
