In case you've been wondering about the week-long silence - and even if you haven't - we returned home from our beach holiday in Turkey this morning at 4 AM. I've had about four hours of sleep in the past 48, so am a bit *stare*y.

It was pretty great, though, and I have a gajillion photos to share, and I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone's entries. But first, SLEEP.

It was fantastic. I'm plugging away at the photos - almost done curating. Then need to put down words to go with them!

Also very safe, apparently, as it was rated SPF 50+! We were so paranoid about the children getting burnt that we bought them both that type of swimsuit and applied sun cream diligently. Neither of them got sunburn (or a suntan, for that matter) even though the temperature started at 29 C on our first day and climbed to 39 C on our last.

Naturally, we forgot about ourselves and both got burnt on separate occasions. :/
