Ha! I want to know how I got my hair to do that. I must have used a curling iron. I'd be willing to bet I haven't used a curling iron more than five times in the intervening two decades.

Ha! My first ever formal evening dress was dark green crushed velvet. It was 1995.

OH YEAH IT IS. I was obsessed with the stuff. I had dresses and tops and skirts in black and jewel green and deep purple and wine red.

SO CUTE. At that age my formal dress was crushed velvet too, but it was lilac. I think I still have it somewhere. It probably still fits.
