People in this journalME! ALL ME! I live with my parents and they creep up I guess and then there are the best friends I journal about. I was Fairy's MOH and visit her through many trains from time to time for concerts. Katie is my bff, other half of my soul, whatever and I see her whenever I can. We go on holidays, flail over sports and geek over marvel. There is also another Katie, a Kitty and a Julia which I'm close to and tend to be name mentioned but mostly it is all about me.
OH. Nico, my Lhasa Apso. He is 18 months old and the light of my life. So much progress on my anxiety with him. Then mum has 4 month old Senna, another lhasa.
About my job I am unfit to work at the moment with a combo of diabetes, hypothyroidism, anxiety, depression and the resulting fatigue. I am currently nearly a 3rd of the way through a BA in history and that is what I am aiming to return to.
Some random facts I've only ever broken toes, bone wise, and always over tripping over stupid stuff.
Things I like to do Read. I'm a huge reader. I'm a historian so I devour books and articles and STUFF that has to do with history. I'm also a huge feminist so, ditto. I also love making fanmixes, writing fanfic, making icons, asking my rlist probing questions, blogging about my health issues, engaging with online health support groups on twitter, making and reading zines, baking, cooking, dog walking, and gaming. I love feminism, social justice, raising the awareness of disability issues and doing a lot of memes. I'm currently doing a 101 fave quotes from movies series too.
Fandom Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Star Trek, Star Wars, Middle Earth,

I prefer when people comment on my journal but if you are interesting and we can talk on yours and form a connection then I am all for that too. If people become inactive I cut them. I don't like the idea that people can lurk or that I don't really know the person that is reading me. So, I'm all for letting people in but if people don't interact I'm willing to boot them back out?
What I’d like to get from my participation here Friends! Platforms like dw, lj and ij are very quiet these days. I want to know about people's lives, their politics, believes, fandoms, STUFF. Fandom only journals I don't like because I don't feel I really know that person but a good balance is ok and people. Just. People!
