Oh Telstar! He's doing that "I'm pretending not to care while secretly checking you out" thing that cats do so well.

Humuhumu is looking gorgeous these days, very alert and expressive.

Yes, he does that a fair bit with Humuhumu. He lies there feigning relaxation while he watches her with preternatural intensity through slitted eyes.

Her excitement is just precious, and his obvious lack thereof makes me giggle. Humuhumu's discovery of his tail does not bode well for poor Telstar. :)

He seems to have grasped the idea that it's not wise to leave his body parts within her reach when he can't see her. He'll let her touch his paws when he's looking straight at her, but he stays far away when he can't keep an eye on her!

We have two cats, one smart, one dumb. The smart one spent a lot of time high on furniture when Isk was small. The stupid one would sit down a foot from him; he would scootch towards her; she would stand up and walk six inches away, then sit down; he would follow; THIS WOULD REPEAT FOR HALF AN HOUR.

Ahahaaaa. Telstar is just excessively relaxed. Until she really takes a swipe at him, he's going to tolerate her with faint disapproval.
