I have so much to catch up on. I have no time. So I'm afraid all you get today are some photos of a baby getting very excited about a cat.


Baby: "Cat?" Cat: "Nyahum."


Baby: "Cat!" Cat, to Large Human: "You're not really going to, are you?"


Baby: "CAAAT!" Cat: "Oh, you did, didn't you. Don't be surprised when you find the decapitated dead thing under your bed later, then."

hehehe. Nico tackles our poor old slow Indy to the ground to cuddle and squeeze him and pull his hair.

Actually, this is similar to his approach to his older brother - lots of grabbing and enthusiasm and occasional stroking.

Yes! She gets soooo excited every time he walks past.

Yes, she's completely absorbed in watching him when he's around. Utterly fascinated.

The only down side is that if he's dancing around her chair, meals can take an awfully long time...

I love it when she does that, which isn't too frequently. The cat is the only thing guaranteed to delight her so completely.

He's pretty tolerant, but doesn't mind being rescued. I just scooped him up and put him on the other side of the baby gate - that's probably the first time he's ever just let me pick him up without squirming and flailing madly to be put down.
