The three amaryllis bulbs in our bay window have all produced spectacularly this year, so I got out my macro lens & tripod and had a play. Humuhumu sat in her Bumbo on the kitchen table, watching me and commenting, so perhaps this counts as her first attempt at artistic direction?
So pretty! Congrats on a great bloom year. I have three pots of the classic red ones (see icon), but they are on their own schedule and haven't even woken up yet. In fact, they only finally went to sleep about 6 weeks ago.
I love the mental image of your little budding artistic director offering her comments. *g*
The name of that flower always reminds me of an obsecnely catchy song from my childood, which I decided was realy all about the correct technique for pulverising a popular brand of scouring pads: "Is this the way to hammer Brillo...?"

We have a couple of cannas that refused to go to sleep this winter, so they're just hanging out in the conservatory, waiting for spring.
