I love the October Daye series. Not quite so keen on the Newsflesh books (written as Mira Grant) but many of my friends prefer them.
btw, can I mention that the photo of Seanan on Wikipedia also features my sister (though my sister prefers it kept quiet because she's lost a lot of weight since then!)
