Yes yes yes. I have multiple copies of my favourite things - in paperback, for reading in the bath; in lovely high-quality Folio edition or other hardcover, for nestling on the sofa with wine and/or hot chocolate and on my Kindle, for on the train. The environment may affect the experience of reading, but it never lessens my enjoyment.
