Thank you! I usually leave my dSLR on aperture-only adjustment, but that decidedly did not work here. Thankfully birb!fren sat still long enough for me to optimise manually.

I love watching them. We saw one on a walk that was bobbing between hibiscus blossoms, sipping carefully from each.
