My one experience of it since the re-model was this: "You are in a maze of twisty fast-food outlets and tacky shops. None of them appears to be a McDonalds. Do you:
1. Go forward; 2. Take a step backward; 3. Dodge sideways to avoid collision with the fast-moving tall guy who clearly knows where he's going and doesn't believe obstacles exist."
The only survivable option, on every turn, was 3. Though occasionally the prompt would change to "You appear to have passed through a barrier into some new yet strangely similar circle of Hell. There is no direct means of return."
