December Days in Photos, Day 12: Butterfly and Dahlia

redsixwing asked for a bug photo or a combination bug/selfie photo. I couldn't find one of the latter in the archives, and it's cold/wet/horrible outside today so I'm choosing instead one that I took at the height of summer. We were visiting the bloke's parents in Norfolk, and up by their swimming pool they have a spectacular collection of roses and dahlias which were all in full bloom and laden with butterflies. Its bright colours cheered me up on this dull grey December day.

nothing to do with this post but omg. you are humuhumu were in my dream last night! we were trying to teach her to write words but she kept spelling them wrong so every time she did we had her write them again in a different colour of pencil.

She kept giggling. She had her mint glasses on. The cat was there too. What. The. Fuck.

It was soooo dark today. It was basically dusk all day long. Very difficult to muster the energy to do much.

O.O What's weirding me out about this is that she's been wearing her pink glasses for weeks, and on this day, she decided randomly to switch back to the mint ones and has been in those ever since.
