7/7/2005: so it turns out this is still pretty visceral for me

Today is the tenth anniversary of the (most recent) London bombings.

I was living in Camden at the time. My LJ posts on that day are here.

If you'll excuse me, I think I'll be spending the rest of the day cuddling my baby son and watching the Tour de France.

I wasn't in London on the day, but I have other friends who were. *offers you a hug* I hope the day went well for you. Personally, I've been watching Wimbledon.

I got through it. I spent a lot of time after the Tour coverage making a nice dinner and pudding for the family, which helped. Wimbledon has been good too, although flipping between them has been a little nerve-wracking!
