Day 351/365: London adventure cut shor

I spent today in London, doing Christmas shopping in the morning followed by going to my old lab to drop off the laptop and key. Oh and go for Christmas lunch. It was lovely right up to the point where it became crashingly obvious Keiki has given me his cold. I ended up bailing with a splitting headache and falling into a cab, which I would normally consider an outrageous luxury. I fell asleep the instant I sat down and the driver had to wake me at Euston. Felt marginally better but am still considering it an Achievement to have navigated myself home. Almost. I'm still on the train. I reckon I'm 20 minutes from fluffy slippers and dressing gown and another massive dose of paracetamol.
