Not acceptable.

I summoned up my bolshiest inner American, This made me laugh, because I sometimes do what I call "getting American on [people/situation/thing]." Sometimes forthrightness or blunt-but-(usually) polite speaking out is needed in a situation and everyone else is being too British to do it. XD
