I hope it's not too embarrassing if I tell you you're one of my role models. You've had an admirable technical career, and somehow in the midst of that you have taught yourself how to write really well.

Yeah, the tech career has been pretty amazing, given that I never had even a tenure track job. It's been fun, mostly. Remind me next time I'm up at 2am babysitting a sick spacecraft...

And thanks, re: the writing stuff. I should post more fiction tidbits. I'm currently reworking a November Novel I cobbled together, including some stuff I posted years ago for one of those Three Weeks for Dreamwidth things (three years? The sell-by date has expired anyway).
